阿里山石棹青心烏龍茶的特色是其獨特的生長環境造就的「山頭氣」，茶湯呈現清澈蜜綠色，帶有清雅花香與甘甜的喉韻。
茶葉外觀呈半球形，具備香氣飽滿、滋味甘醇、回甘持久、口感滑順等特點。

 風味與口感 香氣: 清幽高雅，帶有花香（如水仙花、蘭花）或果香，冷茶時香氣依舊。

滋味: 口感滑順、細緻，滋味甘醇且富活性，帶有獨特的高山韻味。

回甘與喉韻: 飲後能明顯感受到持久的回甘，以及深沉舒適的喉韻。

茶湯: 茶湯色澤蜜綠顯黃，清澈明亮，帶有金黃色光澤。 

茶葉特色 品種: 嚴選「青心烏龍」品種。外觀: 茶乾呈半球形，墨綠色帶油光，緊實均整。

製程: 多為輕發酵，保留茶葉活性，並經過輕烘焙。 生長環境

 產區: 嘉義阿里山石棹茶區。地理條件: 海拔約1300-1500公尺以上，終年雲霧繚繞，日照時間適中。

地質: 屬於岩石地質，富含礦物質，為茶葉帶來獨特的「山頭氣」。

茶葉由於生長緩慢，茶葉細胞壁變密實，果膠質含量高，葉片柔軟。
