阿里山烏龍茶熟茶的特色是風味醇厚、香氣溫潤內斂，帶有熟果香和烘焙的堅果穀物香。這是因為經過烘焙處理，茶湯的顏色變深，茶質變得厚重圓滑，滋味甘醇且耐沖泡，也較不易產生苦澀感。

風味與香氣：
醇厚溫潤： 經過焙火，茶湯滋味較為醇厚圓滑，少了生茶的鮮爽，多了溫潤感。
熟果與堅果香： 帶有熟果香，並有烘焙後的堅果、穀物香氣，如花生、米麩等。
香氣內斂： 香氣比生茶來得沉穩，不會過於張揚。
茶湯與茶葉：
茶湯色澤： 顏色通常較深，呈現金黃或琥珀色。
